A fun and free spooky adventure – Xplorer Halloween Edition

Published Friday, 28 September 2018

The Waverley Werewolf, the Witch of Waverley and all the Ghoulish gang will once again take over Farnham Park and Broadwater Park – and this year, Snoxhall Fields in Cranleigh.

During half term, young families are invited to take part in the exploration game that has taken Waverley by storm. The free, outdoor family adventure will have you racing against friends to complete the course and find all the mysterious markers.
The Halloween special takes place from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Wednesday 24 October at Farnham Park, 10 am to 12am on Friday 26 October at Snoxhall Fields, Cranleigh and 2.30pm to 4.30pm on Friday 26 October at Broadwater Park. The course will take Xplorers approximately 30 minutes to complete and everyone will receive a certificate and sticker for taking part.
Councillor Jenny Else, Portfolio Holder for Health, Wellbeing and Culture, said: “This is a fantastic, free and safe activity for families to take advantage of this half term.
“It was so popular last October, we’ve added an extra venue this year. What a great way for families to spend time learning new skills together – an opportunity which shouldn’t be missed and a chance to get outside, have fun and get into the spooky scary Halloween spirit.”
