Hundreds scrutinise Local Plan Part 2

Hundreds of residents attended the consultation events on Waverley’s draft Local Plan Part 2, which ended on 9 July 2018.

378 residents took part in the drop in sessions, held across the borough, and over 900 representations were received from local residents and organisations.

Councillor Christopher Storey, Portfolio Holder for Planning, said: "The council organised seven very successful drop in events across the borough where residents were able to speak to our planning team face to face.

“We will now consider all the responses carefully and use them to make any necessary revisions to the plan before we consult again later in the year. I would like thank everyone who took part in the consultation. It is important that our local communities to get involved to help shape the future of the borough.”

Once all the representations have been collated they will be published on the council’s website.
