A fun and free spooky adventure - Xplorer Halloween edition

Published Wednesday, 18 October 2017

This Halloween the Waverley Werewolf, the witch of Waverley and all their fiendish friends will take over Farnham and Broadwater Park, respectively.

This half term, young families are invited to take part in the exploration game that has taken Waverley by storm. The free, outdoor family adventure will have you racing against friends to complete the course and find all the mysterious markers.

The Halloween special takes place from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Tuesday 24 October at Farnham Park and Thursday 26 October at Broadwater Park. The course lasts for approximately 30 minutes and everyone will receive a certificate and sticker for taking part.

Councillor Jenny Else, Portfolio Holder for Health, Wellbeing and Culture, said: “This is a fantastic, free and safe activity for families to take advantage of this half term.

“This is such a great way for families to spend time exploring new skills together and it is an opportunity which shouldn’t be missed – it’s a chance to get outside, have fun and get ready for the Halloween weekend.”
