Residents are invited to comment on an application to designate the Busbridge neighbourhood area which will be used to create the Busbridge Neighbourhood Plan.
Busbridge Parish Council has mapped out a neighbourhood area which it has sent to Waverley Borough Council to designate, following a public consultation. Once the area is approved, the parish council will then be able to create the Busbridge Neighbourhood Plan.
Councillor Brian Adams, Portfolio Holder for Planning at Waverley Borough Council, said: “Neighbourhood Plans give communities the opportunity to decide what their town or village should look like and how it should develop and grow in the future, including details of the different types and locations of preferred development.”
Residents and other interested parties can view the area application on Waverley’s website: www.waverley.gov.uk/neighbourhoodplanning
