New national restrictions in place (Covid-19)

Published Thursday, 5 November 2020

Today, Thursday 5 November, we enter a national lockdown until Wednesday, 2 December, a move taken by the Government in response to the rapidly rising infection rates across the country.

To stay up-to-date with information on all council services, please visit our Coronavirus advice page and you can see full guidance on the Government’s website

We would ask all Waverley residents to please stay at home in order to try and stop the spread of the virus unless leaving for specific reasons including caring for others, education, essential shopping or work where you cannot work from home.

Please continue to follow the guidance - remember ‘hands, face, space’ - so that we can reduce the spread of the virus and save lives.
