Car park charging at Frensham Great Pond to change

Published Tuesday, 28 July 2020

Charges at Frensham Great Pond car park are set to change in order to bring them into line with the National Trust car park charging at Little Pond and to assist in the effective management of the site.

Charges were temporarily suspended in March due to the Covid pandemic and were reintroduced on Saturday 18 July 2020, with the new tariff coming into place from Saturday 1 August 2020.

There is also a new RingGo system for payment to ensure visitors will have no contact with machines.

Car parking charges will now be in force every day except for Christmas Day from 9am to 7pm.  The charges will be £1.50 for up to 1 hour, £3.00 for up to 2 hours, £4 for up to 4 hours and £6.00 for all day parking.

The new car parking charges will come into force on Saturday 1 August 2020.

New signage will be installed in car parks and Waverley Borough Council would like to remind users of how important it is to continue to follow social distancing when getting in and out of vehicles or moving around the car park.
