Farnham Neighbourhood Plan referendum on 4 May 2017

A referendum will be held on the Farnham Neighbourhood Plan 2013 - 2031 on Thursday 4 May 2017, alongside the Surrey County Council elections.

The area the Farnham Neighbourhood Plan relates to is the same as the Farnham Town Council boundary that is within the Waverley Borough Council Local Planning Authority area.  Those eligible to vote will receive a poll card advising them of their allocated polling station.

Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm and voters in Farnham will be asked: “Do you want Waverley Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Farnham to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”

Only residents of Farnham are eligible to vote, anyone not yet registered to vote can do so by Thursday 13 April at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or by contacting Electoral Services on 01483 523116.
