The Waverley Voluntary Commissioning Partnership opens for applications

The scheme, which is jointly and equally funded by Waverley Borough Council and Surrey County Council Adult Social Care Directorate, encourages applications from various groups.

Applicants could join organisations that have provided important health and wellbeing projects and activities for Waverley residents as a result of funding from the council. Last year, The Orchard Club applied for funding through the scheme and has used the funds to provide a lunch club for older people while the charity Oakleaf provided a programme of physical activities for people with mental health problems.
