Volunteering at Phillips Memorial Park

    Help restore the much-loved Phillips Memorial Park in Godalming by joining in with other volunteers on the second Wednesday of the month from 10:00 – 13:00.

    Meet at the volunteer shed on The Burys next to the play area, GU7 1EE. Sessions led by James.

    Coppicing dogwood near the war memorial.

    Wednesday 15 May

    Winter Sensory Garden: Tidying the winter sensory garden and the beds along the boundary with the library car park.

    Wednesday 12 June

    Riverside Walk: Clearing viewpoints through the vegetation along the riverside walk.

    Wednesday 10 July

    Riverside Walk: Pulling up invasive Himalayan balsam and other alien plant species from the river bank and around the wildlife pond.

    Wednesday 14 August

    Phillips Memorial Cloister: Pruning wisteria in the pergola in the Cloister.
