The inquiry will start on 17 December 2024 at 10am and continue on 18 and 19 December and 14, 15 and 16 January with 9.30am start times.
Given the level of interest in this case, the Planning Inspector has asked for an overflow space where the livestream can be shown if the Council Chamber reaches maximum capacity. The additional space will be provided within the Council Offices, however there is still a limited amount of space we have available.

National Planning Policy Framework Update
The Inspector wishes to highlight to you that on 12 December 2024, the Government published a revised National Planning Policy Framework (the Framework 2024). The Framework 2024, amongst other things, was accompanied by a written ministerial statement (WMS) and updates to Planning Practice Guidance (PPG).

The Framework 2024, WMS and the PPG are material considerations which should be taken into account from the day of publication. As the Inquiry will open soon on 17 December 2024, the Inspector invites the parties to consider and address any matters arising from the publication of the Framework, WMS and updates to the PPG at the event, orally.
