Rubbish, recycling and food waste
Our contractor, Biffa, will be carrying out collections over the Christmas and New Year period, however, there will be changes to your bin collections.
Collections up to and including Friday 22 December 2023 will stay the same.
From Monday 25 December, the collection will be two days behind (Monday collection will happen Wednesday, Tuesday collection will happen Thursday).
From Monday 1 January, the collection will be one day behind (Monday collection will happen Tuesday etc).
Normal collections resume from Monday 8 January 2024.

Garden waste
There will be no garden waste collections from 27 December 2023 to 7 January 2024.
Clinical waste
Collections up to and including Friday 22 December 2023 will stay the same. From Tuesday 26 December, the collection will be one day behind (Tuesday collection will happen Wednesday, Wednesday collection will happen Thursday and Thursday’s will be collected on Friday). Normal collections will resume from Tuesday 2 January 2024.
