Waverley Borough Council tenants urged to have their say

Waverley Borough Council is urging tenants to get involved in an upcoming survey that will give them the chance to not only rate their council homes but the housing services they receive.

The Survey of Tenants and Residents (STAR) is a nationally recognised survey of tenant satisfaction which is undertaken every few years to gain valuable feedback on housing services. Independent research company ARP Research has been commissioned to carry out the survey on behalf of Waverley Borough Council.

Emails and/or texts will be sent to Waverley tenants from 23 May with a link to the online survey. Interviewers will also be calling 400 tenants to complete the survey over the phone.  If you would like to complete the survey this way or, alternatively, do not want to take part in the survey at all, please get in touch via service.improvement@waverley.gov.uk.

Alternatively, any tenant can go online and access the survey by visiting ARP Survey web page.

Councillor Anne-Marie Rosoman, Waverley Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Housing and Community Safety, said:

“Listening to the views of our tenants is extremely important to us; this survey allows us to find out how satisfied our tenants are, not only with their home, but also the services we provide as their landlord. I’d urge tenants to take part as their feedback will help us to decide what improvements can be made to ensure an even better service in the future.”

The survey closes on 3 July and the results of the survey will be publicised to residents later this year.

Those taking part will qualify for entry into a prize draw to win up to £100 in shopping vouchers.
