Waverley Borough Council shows ‘Pride’ in Godalming

We are delighted to announce that Waverley Borough Council are sponsors of the Rainbow Community Stage at Pride 2021 in Godalming which takes place on 25 September.

This year’s event will see both a main stage and a community stage, showcasing local talent alongside a popular youth zone. The event will also be hosting many local and national LGBTQ+ groups and charities.

Waverley Borough Council will also have a stall at the event so do pop along and visit us.

Councillor Paul Follows, Leader of Waverley Borough Council, commented: “Here in Godalming and, indeed, Waverley as a whole, we embrace inclusivity and are happy to be sponsoring the Community Stage at Pride in Godalming. We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors alike on this special occasion which celebrates diversity and taking pride in our community. We hope that many Waverley residents will come along and enjoy the day.”
