Waverley Borough Council launches new funding scheme for not-for-profit organisations

The scheme offers an exciting opportunity for local voluntary organisations to work in partnership with the council to meet its corporate objectives and support vulnerable or disadvantaged people. It will prioritise the improvement of people’s health and wellbeing, enabling access to information and guidance, reducing social isolation and loneliness, and building stronger, connected communities.

The bidding round is open for five weeks from 14 October. Applications must be received by 4pm on 18 November 2021. Decisions on funding will be made in mid-December.

Successful applicants will receive funding to deliver services or activities for three years from the 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2025.
