New Housing Customer Service number for Waverley

Waverley Borough Council has a new telephone number for tenants to use when reporting repairs or making other housing related enquiries.

From Monday 20 November, the Waverley Housing Customer Service number has changed to 01483 523054.

Last month, the council’s former telephone provider went out of business and whilst the council worked hard to retain the previous 0300 Housing Customer Services number, it was not possible to transfer ownership, so please do not use this telephone number going forward.

The council has moved to the new number, 01483 523054, ensuring tenants can continue to reach the council easily. Housing tenants should make a note of this new telephone number and use it for all housing enquiries and repairs.

Councillor Paul Rivers, Waverley Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Housing said:

“If you’ve previously made a note of our Housing Customer Service number, maybe in your mobile phone or, like me,  on a note stuck on the fridge, please update your records to our new number.

“We have written to every council tenant with information about the change and we’ve included a postcard with our new telephone number on it, so tenants will have the new number to hand when they need it.

“Thank you to everyone for your understanding and cooperation as we make this telephone number change.”

All other contact details remain the same. Tenants can continue to report housing repairs on the council website at www.waverley.gov.uk/reportarepair or you can email: housingcustomerservices@waverley.gov.uk.
