Waverley Borough Council is pleased to announce that Downing Street Group Practice aims to officially open its doors and begin services as Central Surgery at its new location in Union Road on February 3, 2025. The building is owned by Waverley Borough Council, which has been supporting the practice with its plans and funded the remodelling of the facility.
This move represents a significant milestone in the practice’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare in a modern, state-of-the-art facility suitable for the needs of a GP practice.
While the name and location are changing, the contact details, services, and the dedicated team who have been serving the community will remain the same. The new premises will allow the practice to enhance its services and ensure an even better experience.
Councillor Mark Merryweather, Waverley Borough Council’s Portfolio Holder for Finance, Assets and Property, said: “It’s been a pleasure to work with the Downing Street Group Practice to deliver this important facility for the benefit of the residents of Farnham and Waverley. We are extremely pleased that we have been able to help ensure that the practice can stay in the heart of Farnham town centre and allow them to grow and meet the needs of our local community.
“We’re really looking forward to their new Central Surgery welcoming patients in this really outstanding new space.”
