Mayor’s Classical Charity Concert at Farnham Castle

Music loving Waverley residents can join the Mayor of Waverley, Cllr John Ward, and others for a special charity concert on Thursday 27 March 2025.

The event will offer a great opportunity to enjoy some live classical music as well as support one of the Mayor’s chosen charities, Farnham Assist, which is dedicated to enhancing the lives of older people in Farnham.

The candlelit concert will take place at Farnham Castle, Castle Street, Farnham, GU9 0AG, with doors opening at 4:30pm. There will be a bar and ‘Hot Light Bites’ available before seating and during the interval.

The concert will start at 6pm, with a spectacular variety of classical music lined up. This includes West End solo trumpeter Sam Balchin, Francisca de Brito’s award-winning string trio from the Royal Academy of Music, the Principal singers of Godalming Operatic Society, and more!

There is on-site parking available for up to 65 cars. Standing tickets cost £18.50 each, and seated tickets cost £25 each.

Councillor Ward said: “I do hope lots of people come and join us at what will be a fantastic evening of music, in such a historic setting. Not only will there be some incredible performances by talented classical musicians, but we’ll be supporting Farnham Assist, a thoroughly deserving local charity. I would urge people to make sure they get their tickets now before they miss out.”

You can book tickets online now! Alternatively, you can contact MayorsConcert@waverley.gov.uk with any queries.
