Mayor's Christmas Fundraising

Unfortunately, in view of the continued uncertainty regarding the Covid pandemic and the rising numbers of confirmed cases throughout Waverley and in Surrey, the Mayor had to make the difficult decision to cancel the Mayor’s Magical Christmas which was due to take place last Saturday (4 December).

However, the fundraising will continue, as it will after the Christmas season, and you can still make donations and enter a special raffle with the draw now taking  place on Thursday 16 December.

Tickets are £1 each and there are some amazing prizes to be won, including: 

• A beautifully decorated boozy Christmas cake made by the Mayoress of Waverley Councillor Jacquie Keen  
• Silent Pool Gin Tour
• Albury Vineyard Tour
• 4 Ball Golf Voucher at Cranleigh Golf & Country Club
• Champagne afternoon tea at Barnett Hill Hotel.

Tickets can be purchased by emailing Alice Raines, Executive Assistant the Mayor of Waverley Borough Council at alice.raines@waverley.gov.uk - you can also donate via the Mayor's JustGiving page and then email Alice Raines to ask for raffle tickets in exchange for your donation.
