Have your say on play areas in the borough

Thank you to those of you who took part in the first phase of our consultation on the planned refurbishment of three play areas in the borough.

Your feedback on the current facilities and ideas for the spaces was really useful and we are now moving onto selecting a design stage.

The three playgrounds are:

Combe Road Play Area, Farncombe
Wentworth Close Play Area, Farnham
Lashmere Play Area, Cranleigh

If you want to get involved in choosing a design, please visit our website at Play Area Refurbishments - Waverley Borough Council and let us know what you think.

The consultation closes  on 11 December at 5pm.

Waverley Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Environment and Sustainability, Councillor Steve Williams, said:

“It was extremely useful to get the feedback from people in the borough who use these play areas with their families. We are excited to share the designs and would love to hear your views on which one you think would be best suited for Waverley. Please do make sure to complete the survey before 11 December and let us know what you think.”
