Give us your views on play areas in the borough

Do you want to have your say about play areas in Waverley?

Residents are being asked for their views on plans to refurbish three play areas in the borough. The consultation is open until 5pm on 25 August 2023 and is asking for residents’ feedback on the current facilities and what they would like to see in the spaces.

The three playgrounds are:

Combe Road Play Area, Farncombe
Wentworth Close Play Area, Farnham
Lashmere Play Area, Cranleigh

If you want to get involved, you can find the short survey, which closes at 5pm on 25 August 2023 at Play Area Refurbishments - Waverley Borough Council.

Waverley Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Environment and Sustainability, Councillor Steve Williams, said:

“Outdoor play is so important for our children’s health and wellbeing so I am delighted that we are looking to fully refurbish three play areas in the borough.  It’s vital that we have the views of residents who visit these spaces so that we can ensure that the facilities match their needs. Please do make sure to complete the survey before 25 August and let us know what you think.”
