Free family activity trails taking place in Waverley

This Easter sees the launch of three FREE Family Activity Trails taking place in Farnham, Godalming and Haslemere.

Families will be able to play on an illustrated activity trail that celebrates our towns, bringing to life its heritage and taking them on a journey of discovery.

The starting points for the trails will be Farnham Maltings, Godalming Library and Haslemere Educational Museum with The Farnham trail  being  launched at the beginning of April, to coincide with the Easter Holidays. It will be available for families to enjoy for up to three months.

Waverley Borough Council Economic Development, and Cultural Services teams, have been working in partnership with Farnham Town Council, Farnham Maltings, and A Line Art to develop the trails.

Councillor Liz Townsend, Waverley Borough Council's Portfolio Holder for Planning and Economic Development, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming these activity trails to our towns. The trails are part of a wider package of cultural activities happening across the borough this spring. We hope families will enjoy and explore what Waverley has to offer from cultural arts venues and museums to a wide range of local independent businesses.”

For further information on the Farnham trail, you can visit Farnham Town Council.  Information on the other trails will be available on *Godalming Town Council and Haslemere town council websites.

Please note the Family Activity Trail will no longer be taking place in Godalming, however some further options are being explored for the future.   Family workshops will take place on Wednesday 1st June  where families can learn how to make their own trails at home.
